More than 500,000 children in the United States are currently in foster care.

Forty percent of youth in foster care are teens, many of who need families.

Over 60 % of children adopted from foster care are adopted by foster families.

About 20,000 youths leave care every year at age 18. Many without the means to go to college or without a family to help them.

 25% of the Nation's homeless were foster children.
