| "...My experience with foster children has been very rewarding for me. I have learned to become a very patient person because of it. I am a friend, teacher, psychologist, nurse, but most of all, a mom." Maureen, Foster Parent |
C. is a fifteen year old foster child who has been with his current foster parents for two and a half years. According to C. "they are wicked nice people." He remembers when he first met them. " I was so nervous." He feels that they have made a strong impact on his life. He shares things with them, and he feels that they have dealt with everything together, such as family issues. "I would like to thank them for everything they have done for me." |
